We care about your privacy. This policy explains what StudyClip ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and when we might share it—without the scary jargon where we can help it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: things like email and profile info when you sign up or log in.
  • Content you provide: files you upload (presentations, PDFs, etc.), videos we generate for you, and outputs from tools—so we can actually run the product.
  • Usage & technical bits: device, browser, IP, and logs to keep things secure and working.
  • Payments: handled by our payment partner—we don't store full card numbers on our servers.

2. How we use information

We use it to run StudyClip, improve it, process payments, talk to you about the service, keep bad actors out, and meet legal requirements. AI features use your content to create the outputs you asked for.

3. Sharing

We work with vendors (hosting, auth, storage, payments, AI APIs) who help us operate—under contracts that protect your data. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.

4. Retention

We keep data as long as we need it for the service and for legitimate business or legal reasons. You can delete certain content or your account where the product supports it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, fix, delete, or export your data, or to push back on some processing. Contact us and we'll do our best to help within the law.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tech for essentials (login, preferences) and sometimes analytics. More detail lives in our Cookie Policy.

7. Children

StudyClip isn't aimed at kids under the age your local rules care about. We don't knowingly collect personal info from children.

8. International transfers

Your data might be processed in countries other than yours. We use safeguards where they're required.

9. Changes

We may update this policy—we'll post the new version here with a fresh date.
